This fleece is from a young man's flock who was the recipient of the Michigan Sheep Breeders Association starter flock program. We sponsered this starter flock of Shetlands that Cameron received. I told him that I would help him market his fleece's this year as part of the sponsership.

This fleece has a 5.5 inch staple length. A Black ewe fleece is primitive and very lusterous, but coarser. This fleece has small chaff through out that should come out at processing. The neck and britch have been removed.
